How to Become a Race Sponsor

On September 25, 2010, the South Carolina Mountains to Midlands Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will hold the 2010 Race for the Cure.® This year the race will begin at our new venue, Fluor Field at the West End, home of the Greenville Drive baseball team.  We anticipate 6,000 participants and over 400 breast cancer survivors in attendance.

Although we have come a long way in breast cancer survival rates, we have not yet found a cure for this disease. Every 3 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Every donation help us get one step closer to finding a cure.

We hope that you will join us in the fight against breast cancer by becoming a sponsor of the Race for the Cure. In addition to supporting an important cause, this year your support of the Race can provide your company a unique marketing opportunity through some of our targeted sponsorship options. 

Because 75% of funds raised are re-invested in our local community, our affiliate has been able to help women and men by investing $3.1 million in grants to local hospitals and non-profit agencies.  These monies help fund mammography, screening, education and services for those suffering from this terrible disease.
